Lions head coach Dan Campbell celebrated his 50th birthday today. His wife, Holly Campbell, shared rare personal footage on Instagram. The reel offers fans a glimpse of Campbell away from football. The couple also attended a celebratory brunch in Detroit.
Away from the grit and intensity, Dan Campbell’s softer side just went public today via Instagram. Holly Campbell shared a birthday reel for celebrating head coach Dan Campbell’s 50th birthday. The reel featured some unseen moments of their lives beyond the gridiron.
“The world has been blessed with 50 years of Big Guy!!! Happy Birthday!!! I can’t wait to see what you does next!!” wrote Holly Campbell.
According to People, the power couple from Motown read their vows in 1999, the same year Campbell was drafted by the New York Giants.
Making 25 years of sweet memories together, they have two children, a young gun named Cody and a lovely daughter named Piper.
On Dan’s 50th birthday, Holly compiled some rare, unseen moments of Dan hidden from the NFL universe.
The reel begins with Dan with their dog Thelma, a still of Dan in Hawaiian hula, a moment of Dan sleeping with their dog, and various pictures in a montage where a lighter side to Campbell is seen.

Dan Campbell Spotted at Brunch With Holly Campbell and Chuck Bennett
Ahead of his birthday, Dan Campbell, along with his wife Holly Campbell were spotted at a brunch hosted by Chuck Bennett in Downtown Detroit.
The style guru, Chuck Bennett hosted a gourmet brunch buffet at the Joe Muer Seafood titled “The Art of Springtime Chic”.
Upon the arrival of the power couple, the focus pivoted to them. Dan also did not hold back and addressed the crowd.
“I enjoyed this today. It's great to see all of you. And just a celebration of the day when it is. To see everybody around each other is pretty cool. So, thank you,” said Dan Campbell.
Several entrepreneurs, including Demetrius Carrington and Myles Hardy, were also spotted at the brunch.
