Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff got a touching Father's Day message from his wife, Christen Goff, on Sunday.

Christen posted a story on her Instagram with her husband, Jared, holding their daughter, Romy. The couple was seen in a heartwarming moment together in the clip.

The message on the story read: "Happy first Father's Day @jaredgoff We love you."

The Instagram story marked an important moment for both Christen and Jared, considering that this is the first Father's Day for Jared after the birth of his daughter back in July 2025.

Jared and Christen first announced they were expecting a child during the 2025 NFL Honors festivities. At the time, the Lions quarterback spoke openly about his excitement for the next chapter of his life, according to People Magazine.

"I'm looking forward to becoming a dad," Jared said. "I can't wait to watch [Christen] be a mom."

While Christen was equally confident about her husband's future as a parent.

"I know he's going to be the best [dad], and it's just gonna be exciting to do this together as a team," she said.

All of this has now come full circle, nearly a year later. Jared and Christen welcomed their daughter, Romy Isabelle, in July 2025, adding a new chapter to a relationship that began in 2019.

Jared and Christen Goff Embraced Parenthood Since Romy

Jared and Christen met via an online dating site in 2019. And by 2022, Jared proposed to her on their vacation in Los Cabos, Mexico. After a couple of years, they decided to get married in 2024 in Ojai, California, as reported in People Magazine.

Since Romy was born, Christen has not shared many posts related to family life on social media. However, one such post appeared in September 2025 when Christen posted an image of Romy in a game day outfit.

"She's got her jersey on, as well, and a little bow," Christen said in a TikTok video. "[She also] has some football socks, and we're ready to party." The outfit even featured a miniature Lions jersey with "Daddy" on the back.

While both Jared and Christen maintain busy careers, they have consistently supported each other. Christen continues her work as a model, including appearances with Sports Illustrated, while also joining Jared in Netflix's Quarterback series.

Sunday's post underscored that support. More than a year after becoming husband and wife and months after becoming parents, Christen's message highlighted a family milestone.
