The Detroit Lions' star wide receiver, Amon-Ra St. Brown, is famous for his touchdown celebration dance, which includes the dance moves against the Washington Commanders that were a nod to President Donald Trump's signature dance style.
As reported by Joe Smith of the Touchdown Wire back in 2025, Amon-Ra made headlines by celebrating the TD signature Trump Dance in the same match, which President Donald Trump attended.
"St. Brown quickly hunted down the presidential suite in the Commanders' stadium, where Trump was taking in the action before pointing directly at the President. He then proceeded to pump his arms back and forth while dancing, a move which Trump has been famously captured on video doing himself," Joe Smith of Touchdown Wire reported back in 2025.

"That would be a beautiful name, as it was President Trump who made the rebuilding of the new stadium possible," White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt told ESPN.
The “Trump-dance”, viral hip thrusts, acrobatics, and many more, Amon-Ra never lets his fans down on the gridiron.
It was the Week 10 game of the 2025 NFL season where the Motor City team faced the Washington Commanders on Sunday, November 09, 2025, at the Northwest Stadium in Landover, Maryland.
The game night also has its own significance, as in a historic moment, a sitting United States president attended a regular NFL game in nearly 50 years.
Trump attended the event as a part of the NFL’s "Salute to Service" initiative honoring military veterans.
During the match, Amon-Ra scored a touchdown and changed the scoreboard to 14-3, where he performed the “Trump-dance” while pointing it towards the president.
While celebrating, he pumps his arms back and forth while dancing, a move that Trump has been famously doing himself.
In the game, he registered five receptions for 58 yards. The Detroit Lions defeated the Commanders by a dominant 44-22 victory.
Beyond his end-zone antics, St. Brown continues to make offseason headlines, recently going viral for describing each of his NFC North rivals in exactly one word.
Amon-Ra St. Brown Continues to Make Headlines With NFC North Remarks
The recent remarks made by the star WR of the Detroit Lions have again reignited the chatter around the divisional rivalry in the NFC North.
“Lions: Grit,” Amon-Ra said. “Vikings: Finesse. Packers: Annoying. Bears: Even more annoying.”
In a conversation with B/R Gridiron, Amon-Ra did not hold back and proudly praised the Lions for Dan Campbell’s “GRIT” environment and pulled down the Lions' divisional rivals.
While decimating the Chicago Bears, he called them the most annoying team in the NFC North.
It would be interesting to see the Lions playing against their divisional rivals ahead in the 2026 NFL season, as they have corrected their last season’s mistakes, which led them to narrowly miss the playoffs with a 9-8 record.
