Bleacher Report identified five high-impact veterans still seeking contracts deep into the 2026 offseason. These stars remain available despite productive seasons and playoff experience.

1. OG Kevin Zeitler

Despite widespread needs for offensive line help, Kevin Zeitler remains unsigned. The 36-year-old has played for three different teams over the past three seasons.

Zeitler was rated within the top 10 Guards with a 75.4 PFF pass-blocking grade, allowing just 16 total pressures across 590 pass block snaps.

He's got the length to handle big defensive tackles, which is a huge asset, keeping the clean pocket and stopping the interior rush. Any team looking to add a guard should have Zeitler on its list, as per Bleacher Report.

2. WR Deebo Samuel

Samuel only played a single season for the Washington Commanders, but he should still have something to offer another team as he gets ready for his next season.

Samuel is a brilliant playmaker when he has the football under his control. He's scored four touchdowns in all six of his seasons, averaging nearly 11 yards per touch in his career.

Samuel managed to score six touchdowns on just 89 touches in 2025. Any team looking for a reliable player who can line up at offensive or contribute on special teams should consider Samuels.

3. WR Stefon Diggs

Stefon Diggs was released by the New England Patriots as a cost-saving measure after an appearance in Super Bowl LX against the Seattle Seahawks in March 2026.

Diggs had injury concerns as he tore his ACL in 2024, but he played in all 21 of the Patriots' regular and playoff seasons. He recovered from a knee injury to have his seventh 1,000-yard receiving season in the last eight years and finished the year with 1,013 yards and four touchdowns on 85 receptions.

The four-time Pro Bowler and 2020 All-Pro has led the team to the Lombardi Trophy. He holds the potential to contribute at a high level even at the age of 32.

4. Edge Joey Bosa

Joey Bosa's best football may have been behind him, but his elite performance remains a factor following a strong season in Buffalo.

Bosa ranked top 30 among edge rushers with 47 total pressures, 30 hurries, 12 QB hits, and two batted passes as per Pro Football Focus. Since 2021, he hadn't logged a snap higher than 54%; the defender returned to playing a key role for quality defense.

Bosa comes with speed, power, and skill ahead of his 11th NFL season. He remains an ideal candidate for either a rotational role or a high-volume starting position.

5. OT Taylor Decker

The Detroit Lions surprisingly announced during the 2026 NFL offseason opening that they were releasing their longest-tenured player, Taylor Decker.

The 2016 draft pick has started 140 games and played over 9,000 offensive snaps during his decade-long career, finally earning a Pro Bowl in 2024.

As reported by Pro Football Focus, Decker is still good enough at 32 to be an upgrade at LT for many teams. He is a great starter who can contribute a Super Bowl-level performance, which makes him the best possible free agent left.
