Prosecutors reportedly argue to keep Terrion Arnold jailed until trial

The Detroit Lions’ cornerback, Terrion Arnold, is still under scrutiny amid the alleged felony charges of armed robbery and kidnapping.
But in recent developments, the prosecutor who is arguing against Arnold will present the state's side of keeping him under non-bailable custody until the trial is over, as announced by the Hillsborough County (Florida) District Attorney's Office.
"No one has the right to take the law into their own hands. A dispute over missing property does not justify kidnapping, violence, or retaliation," State Attorney Suzy Lopez said.

Arnold voluntarily surrenders to law enforcement and is booked into the Orient Road Jail in Hillsborough County, Florida.
He was taken into custody on Wednesday night on account of being the “primary conspirator” in the February 04, 2026, robbery.
On Thursday, Arnold appeared in front of the court via the cloud video platform for a hearing. As reported by ESPN.
"Fame doesn't get you out of criminal charges or our pursuit of justice and holding criminals accountable," Tampa Police Chief Lee Bercaw said.
On Monday, June 29, 2026, Terrion Arnold will face a critical pretrial detention hearing at the Hillsborough County Courthouse.
The prosecutor will submit the plea to keep Arnold in custody until the trial is over.
Following the recent developments on Arnold, his other two co-defendants pleaded guilty in the court hearing.
Case Takes New Turn as Two Co-Defendants Plead Guilty
The struggles for the Detroit Lions’ cornerback Terrion Arnold are far from over, as seen in the major development amid the armed robbery and kidnapping.
As reported by Justin Rodgers of the Detroit Football Network, the other two co-defendants, Arianna Del Valle and Jasmine Randazzo, pleaded guilty during the court hearing on June 24, 2026, for their roles in the felonies.
For her involvement in the case, Randazzo was sentenced to four years in the Florida State Prison, while Del Valle awaits the verdict.
Amid the whole controversy, the Detroit Lions have backed their star CB, and even with the recent developments, they have maintained their firm stance.
“We are aware of the legal situation regarding Terrion Arnold,” the statement said. “We will not comment at this time out of respect for the ongoing legal process.”
Per Denise White of EAG Sports Management still denies any involvement in the matters and maintains his stance on his innocence.
