Amon-Ra St. Brown is making noise this offseason, and it's not on the practice field. The Detroit Lions star recently shared a glimpse into his off-field life. The main event featured a night out with music icon Kanye West, giving fans a different look at the $120 million receiver.

From securing passes on the field to securing his well-earned time off, wide receiver Amon-Ra St. shared a glimpse of his offseason life via Instagram. He was in attendance at the Kanye West concert at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. 

He shared an Instagram story of the rapper Kanye West performing atop a rotating globe before 60,000 fans titled “YE: Homecoming”.

His presence at a Kanye West concert isn’t pure chance, it reflects his connection to music, especially hip-hop culture. Amon-Ra St. has a wide taste of music, whether it’s R&B, Afrobeats, rap, hip-hop, or pop, he loves it all. 

“I like Drake, I like Burna Boy, I like Kanye West, I like Chris Brown. And if I had to give you one more, I'm going to go with the goat, Michael Jackson,” he said in September while interacting with the Complex. 

Off the field, St. Brown has spoken about being intentional with his time, planning his routine, interests, and lifestyle just as carefully as he approaches the game.

This Kanye concert was different, not just his music, but this time the setup was also speaking for itself. He performed on a massive rotating Earth-like stage, it was not a typical concert.

The globe shifted looks throughout the night, a burning sphere, a lone planet floating in space, giving fans that “sci-fi” feel people kept talking about. 

The energy peaked when his daughter, North West, joined him on stage, drawing one of the loudest reactions of the night. 

From there, it rolled into a mix of old and new, with classics like “Can’t Tell Me Nothing” and “Heartless” hitting just as hard as anything new. 

When he closed with “Runaway,” it felt like a full-circle moment, loud, emotional, and exactly the kind of ending that stuck with fans walking out.

With this outing, Amon-Ra is one day closer to a franchise trip for the upcoming 2026 training in Germany, and the wide receiver for one, is excited.

A couple of months ago, a text hinted at a surprise FaceTime call for St. Brown.

On the other end, his mother, Miriam Brown, delivered the moment that tied everything together. The Detroit Lions are heading to Munich for a 2026 regular-season clash, bringing the player who signed a $120 Million extension in 2024, closer to his roots in a way few could have scripted.

While the opponent and kickoff details are still under wraps until the full National Football League schedule drops, the stage itself is already set. The Detroit Lions will take the field at Allianz Arena, home to Bayern Munich.

"I'm excited. I've seen videos. I've seen teams play there. I've asked players how it was playing in Germany and they all said, 'Man, the fans are electric, they're amazing,'" St. Brown said about the trip. "So, it's going to be great just for me to be out there with my teammates

For Amon-Ra St. Brown, this trip is about seeing the sport’s reach come to life. From packed camps to unexpected recognition in a country dominated by soccer, the growing appetite for football in Germany has clearly left its mark.
