The rivalry between the Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers rarely leaves room for emotional moments. However, this time, instead of focusing on divisional battles, the league celebrated a major personal development for Packers quarterback Jordan Love.

Jordan Love and Ronika Stone just announced the birth of their first child, Rayna Capri Love.

NFL acknowledged Ronika Stone’s Instagram post on X, “Welcome to the girl dad club, @jordan3love  (heart hand sign).” 

Stone’s Instagram post read, “A full month with our little ray of sunshine. Rayna Capri Love thank you for making our family whole, you are our everything.”

Jordan Love has been with Ronika Stone since 2020. The couple got engaged in June 2024 in Tuscany, Italy, and got married in June 2025. 

Ronika Stone is the daughter of former NFL defensive lineman Ron Stone. In a 2025 Players’ Tribune essay, Love had written, “There’s just no way I’d be here without them,” reflecting on the role of his family during difficult moments. 

Jordan is a former first-round pick with the 26th overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. After spending a few seasons in the shadow of Aaron Rodgers, Love is establishing himself as Green Bay’s franchise quarterback.

He signed a four-year, $220 million contract extension before the 2024 season, after leading the Packers to the playoffs in 2023. 

Detroit and Green Bay are expected to battle again for the NFC North championship. But on this occasion, fans all around have come together to congratulate the Packers quarterback.

NFL Fans Come Together To Congratulate Love

Although NFL rivalries run deep, not every moment is marred by competition. Fans around the world have come to congratulate the couple on the birth of their first daughter. 

One fan encouraged Love to become an MVP this year, “New dad powered MVP year.”

Another fan also pointed out the significance of the newborn, adding a compliment to Jordan Love being the 'Greatest Of All Time'.
“She's named after both her parents: Rayna means queen and Capri means goat. Love it,” commented the fan. 

Other fans joked about the chaos that new parents found themselves in, welcoming Jordan to parenthood.

“Sleep schedule? Nah, daughter schedule. Welcome to the chaos, Jordan,” said a comment.

This is one of those wholesome moments that showcases that there are a few things that are more important than football.
