The reported sale of the Seattle Seahawks has sparked widespread buzz across the NFL community, with fans debating franchise valuations and championship success.
Amid the discussion, ex-Lions quarterback Chase Daniel joined the conversation by taking a low blow at the Dallas Cowboys, igniting another round of debate over the franchise and its prolonged Super Bowl drought.
“$10,000,000,000!!! Wonder what the Cowboys are worth…” Chase Daniel wrote on X, mocking the Cowboys.

As reported by Alanna Quillen of nbcdfw.com, the Dallas Cowboys dominated the list of most valuable sports teams back in 2025.
Per Forbes, they estimated that the franchise is worth about $13B, highest among all NFL teams, followed by the Los Angeles Rams at $10.5B.
As per the recent sale of the Seahawks, billionaire Vinod Khosla brought Seahawks from the estate of late Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen for $9.6 billion, per Seth Wickersham and Adam Schefter.
The sale has broken the previous record of the Washington Commanders sale to Josh Harris’s group at $6.05B.
The highlighting point here was that the Seahawks were estimated to be worth $6.59B, yet it was sold at 45% more than the estimated worth, which has sparked a debate in the NFL community.
This is where Daniel joined the conversation and talked about the Cowboys. However, as his comments surfaced, many NFL fans joined him in taking their shots at the Dallas Cowboys.
NFL Fans Call Out Cowboys Over Ex-Lions Post
As reports of the Seattle Seahawks surfaced, NFL fans got the opportunity to take shots at the Jerry Jones-owned franchise after ex-Lions quarterback Chase Daniel’s comments.
One fan mocked the Cowboys' postseason drought by writing, “They are worth another 30 years of playoff misery,” suggesting the franchise's valuation has done little to translate into championship success.

Others were even more blunt.
“$10 and no more trophies,” one fan joked, poking fun at the Cowboys' inability to add another Lombardi Trophy despite remaining one of the league's most valuable organizations.
Some fans mocked the franchise even harder by asking what anyone will pay for me, reflecting that the organization is not worthy of a penny.
“What someone will pay,” another commenter wrote, implying that market value and on-field success are two very different things.
The criticism eventually circled back to Dallas' championship history, and fans really meant it.
“When was the last time the Cowboys won a Super Bowl? Or play off game?” one fan asked, highlighting the organization's lengthy Super Bowl drought and recent postseason frustrations.
With Daniel’s post, it was less about the sale of the Seahawks but more about fans taking another chance to roast the Cowboys' lack of postseason success.
