Discussions started about the star pass rusher Micah Parsons' value against the run compared to his impact as an edge rusher. Some critics questioned whether his contract should ask for more complete defensive production. Parsons' brother, Terrence Parsons Jr., wasted no time and defended the NFL star.

Terrence's statement on his X post showed the reality of the modern NFL. Edge rushers are rewarded for disrupting quarterbacks, creating pressure, and producing sacks, while run defense is a team responsibility involving the entire front seven and supporting defenders.

Terrence also pointed to Green Bay's strong run defense numbers with Parsons on the field, insisting fans overlook the big impact Micah has beyond individual stats. He has built one of the NFL's most impressive resumes since he entered the league.

The former first-round pick has earned multiple Pro Bowl and All-Pro selections while marking himself as one of the football's elite pass rushers.

He recorded 65 career sacks, 297 total tackles, and 11 forced fumbles.

After joining the Green Bay Packers in 2025, he signed a four-year contract extension worth $188 million, which comes to about $47 million per year. Such a heavy contract raises fans' expectations, who are now expecting dominance.

The Dallas Cowboys brought another veteran edge rusher to Dallas in a trade during March. The Cowboys believe Rashan Gary is exactly the talent they are looking for after his record of 7.5 sacks in each of the last two years.

As the Cowboys showed optimism, Terrence's statement said otherwise.

"Definitely can stop the run, but outside of that, y'all gonna f*** around and find out," wrote Terrence on X.

One of the Cowboys members showed excitement on Gary's arrival, posting it on X, to which Terrence bluntly replied that the franchise is going to be disappointed at the end.
