Former Detroit Lions All-Pro safety Glover Quin discussed the franchise’s offense on Woodward Heavyweights and revealed Jameson Williams as the player he most wants to see take a step up:

“You know, I think the person that I want to see grow up the most is JMo, just me personally. I feel like he got so much more potential than what we’ve been getting, that I want—I want to see.”

The Lions legend believes Williams has yet to fully tap into his full potential. The receiver has shown flashes of his explosive ability, but Quin sees another level from him waiting to emerge.

If Williams reaches that level, he could give Detroit another dangerous dimension alongside the team’s established weapons.

Glover Quin also recognized the other stars who make Detroit’s offense dangerous.

“I love Jahmyr and what he does, and you know, I love Amon and what he does for that team.”

Jahmyr Gibbs gives the Lions versatility from the backfield, while Amon-Ra St. Brown remains a dependable target. He sees both as important pieces of an offense built to threaten defenses in different ways.

Quin’s focus on Jameson Williams shows how much potential he believes the young receiver still has.
