Over the last week, the Rams made headlines as they brought NFL legend Aaron Donald back into the fold. A decision that gives them an insane defensive line pairing of Donald and Myles Garrett. A decision, that has left Lions fans frustrated.

Yes, despite the 2,283 mile difference between the two cities, fans in Detroit have been seething following what went down in LA. After all, it makes things all the more difficult for the Detroit Lions and the rest of the NFC.

However, what has most fans annoyed is how the Rams have managed to have a generational off-season. A feeling, that is perfectly expressed by Mike Valenti on 97.1 The Ticket.

He points out how the Rams managed to find the money to bring back Donald, while the Lions seemingly hide behind the "salary cap."

"I do think it is why there are a number of fans who have a little resentment towards their own team. The Lions don't do stuff like this. They constantly cry poor and the Rams are Scrooge McDuck diving into their tower of gold bullion."

It certainly can get on fans nerves, especially when it's a conference rival. Hopefully though, the Lions can prove they're the better team on the field.

Lions fans questioning major roster decision

The front office's moves in free agency aren't the only thing Lions fans are questioning. Recently, the team announced their 53-man roster, and there was one name fans noticed was missing.

Greg Dortch was essential in the return game for the Lions. But, for some reason, he didn't seem to make Dan Campbell's 53. This has left some fans stunned, especially considering there was chatter about Dortch potentially even being WR3.

While the Lions still have a strong roster, these roles could be the difference between a successful season and a disappointing one. Hopefully, this isn't a decision they regret.
