Lions CB Terrion Arnold's Attorney Issues Statement Amidst Ties to Robbery Case

Detroit Lions CB Terrion Arnold found himself in a rather concerning situation as a Florida court order has taken him in regards of an armed robbery and suspected abduction that took place shortly after midnight on February 4 in Tampa.
In a seven-page order submitted on February 24 in Hillsborough County Circuit Court, Circuit Judge J. Logan Murphy outlined allegations arising from the reported burglary of an Airbnb in Largo that Arnold had rented. Arnold's attorney has made a statement.
"To be clear, Mr. Arnold had no involvement whatsoever in the activities that led to those arrests. He did not participate in, nor was he present for, any conduct related to the alleged offenses. There is no evidence in police reports, text messages, or witness statements that implicates Mr. Arnold in any way."

As of Judge Murphy's statement, Arnold had hired a private driver, transporting him and his friends to and from the Airbnb. During that period, the rental property was burglarized twice, with reported stolen items including designer handbags, $100,000 in cash, an $80,000 necklace, and a cellphone issued to Arnold by the NFL.
The order said that Arnold grew suspicious of the driver. He felt that the driver might have a role in the theft. And even though Arnold had it reported to Largo authorities, Murphy wrote that the Lions' star and his friends “decided to take matters into their own hands.”
He wrote that Hilton allegedly "appears to be the quarterback calling the play" and orchestrated an ambush. Judge Murphy also identified a woman as Arnold’s girlfriend in the order.
But Terrion Arnold's attorney has denied both of these claims.
"Recent media coverage has referenced an Order issued by Circuit Judge J. Logan Murphy, which improperly suggests Mr. Arnold's involvement in the incident. That same Order also incorrectly identifies Ms. Devalle as Mr. Arnold's girlfriend. Both assertions are false, misleading, and entirely unsupported by the record," the statement read.
The court has not charged the Detroit Lions star with a crime in connection with this case. "Mr. Arnold categorically denies these unfounded claims and maintains his complete innocence. He was not involved in the crimes allegedly committed on February 4, 2026, in Tampa, Florida," his attorney also clarified.
