Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff's wife, Christen Harper, has opened up about how motherhood has changed her experience on NFL game days.
In an exclusive interview with the People WAG World series, Christen described how her daughter, Romy Isabella Goff, has changed her perspective on priorities.
"So game day is a lot," Christen told People. "I think honestly having Romy there has been just so nice. It's just, again, a good perspective shift. She needs me even if it's like two minutes before half, the game's crazy, she needs me."
Her statement offers a glimpse into life behind the scenes for NFL families, especially when much of the attention is focused on Jared Goff and the Lions during game days.

She explained that after becoming a mother, she has shifted her priorities away from the stress and emotions that often come with watching from the stands.
"I have to tend to her. It's just a new shift in life," Christen added.
Christen and Jared welcomed Romy last year in the month of July, which marked a new chapter in their lives.
After welcoming Romy, the 33-year-old model has been open about sharing moments from motherhood while continuing to support Goff throughout the NFL season.
Goff is entering his sixth NFL season as Detroit's starting quarterback. He has helped the Lions become one of the NFC's contenders and is looking to lead them to a division title and a Super Bowl in the 2026 season.
As his responsibilities on the field continue to grow, Christen is adjusting to a new role off it.
Christen Opens Up About Motherhood and Life Beyond the NFL Spotlight
Christen has been very open about things, be it navigating NFL game days or discussing motherhood publicly. She has been quite candid about the realities of motherhood and recovery after giving birth.
Christen shared a swimsuit photo on social media last year to address the pressure many women feel about returning to their pre-pregnancy appearance.
Her caption detailed her journey as a new mother navigating a profession that put a lot of importance on physical appearance. The post emphasized embracing the process rather than focusing on physical changes.
Christen's message resonated with many mothers, who praised her for honestly showing the challenges she faced while balancing parenthood and everyday life.
