During this offseason, Christen Harper, the wife of Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff, has become a key figure to follow. The longtime Sports Illustrated model has been active on social media recently, giving updates about her return to modeling after becoming a mother.
On May 14, Sports Illustrated launched Swimsuit Issue 2026 with a party at Hard Rock Hotel Times Square in New York City. Days later, Harper reshared an Instagram post on May 24.
"Snapshots from a very iconic night," read the caption of Sports Illustrated's post that Harper shared on her Instagram story.
Goff's wife attended the party along with many others, like Livvy Dunne, Brooks Nader, and Nina Agdal. She was spotted in a sequined long dress.
Goff and Harper welcomed their daughter Romy Isabelle Goff in July 2025. The 32-year-old model has returned to modelling since then, with appearances in two projects, one for the 2026 print issue.
Harper also appeared on the digital cover for February, which included other NFL players' wives as well.

Meanwhile, Goff's wife opened up about the emotional journey.
“Coming back postpartum was a little scary," Christen spoke to PEOPLE about her comeback in modeling. "You’re just getting used to your new body, but honestly, it just felt so empowering."
Harper has been a model since the age of 20 and met Goff via a celebrity dating app back in 2019. She moved to Detroit when Goff was traded to the Lions from the Rams.
As Harper is getting back to modelling, her husband, Goff, is getting ready for the 2026 season.
Increased Expectations For Goff After Roster Changes
Goff has a lot of pressure on him for this upcoming season. Analysts suggest that he has been put in one of the best positions to win. General Manager Brad Holmes made some notable moves to bolster the roster.
According to Ralph Vacchiano of Fox Sports, the Lions have the 5th-best supporting cast.
"Veteran QB Jared Goff has a trio of elite skill players, which is a great place to start," said the analyst. "Amon-Ra St. Brown has become unstoppable, Jameson Williams is one of the best big-play receivers in the NFL."
However, he did question whether Isiah Pacheco was a risky replacement for David Montgomery, who was traded to the Texans, due to his injury history.
The Lions also have a new offensive coordinator in Drew Petzig, a welcome change from last season.
Changes to the offensive line, a new offensive coordinator, and, while still possessing elite playmakers, make the Lions favorites. However, that also means that there will be a lot of pressure on Goff to help lead them towards a Super Bowl.
