For years, the fans of the Detroit Lions have had their fun listening to 97.1 The Ticket (WXYT-FM), an Audacy station in Detroit. And according to a new update, they will continue to do so and have Dan Campbell along with Jared Goff there as well.

The station will remain the official radio home of Detroit Lions football as it has announced a multi-year extension of its broadcast partnership with the franchise. What does this partnership bring?

As per the Lions' official report: "Throughout the season, guests, including starting quarterback Jared Goff and Head Coach Dan Campbell, will make weekly appearances on the morning and midday shows. "Costa & Jansen with Heather" can be heard 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. ET and "The Karsch & Anderson Show" airs from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. ET."

Dan Campbell has been interviewed on 97.1  The Ticket multiple times, discussing the Lions’ performance and team matters. And on different occasions, Goff has also appeared in interviews on the station in the past.

The station will also keep broadcasting the “Lions Review Show,” featuring Detroit Lions Radio Network play-by-play announcer Dan Miller, along with 97.1 The Ticket hosts Will Burchfield and Bob Wojnowski.

Why The Detroit Lions Extended the Partnership

Debbie Kenyon, Senior Vice President and Market Manager, Audacy Detroit, made a statement.

"In Detroit, the Lions represent our resilience and our pride. We are honored to extend our long-standing partnership with the team, serving as the bridge between the field and the fans," she said.

Starting August 31st, the Lions Review show will kick off for in-season coverage on Mondays. Apart from this, fans can expect all sorts of pre-game, live, and post-game coverage from the show!
