Jahmyr Gibbs reacted on social media to a heated exchange during the NBA Playoffs. The Detroit Lions star was courtside at Little Caesars Arena when tempers flared between James Harden and Duncan Robinson.

The Lions star shared his reaction via Instagram, in which Robinson, Jalen Duren, and Gibbs, from the sidecourt, gave the classic playoff staredown moment to James Harden. Stating “AHHHHHHHHH ANDDDD ONEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!”

During the fourth quarter of Game 1, tempers flared when the Pistons’ guard Robinson hit a floater to push the Pistons to take a lead over the Cleveland Cavaliers. 

This helped the Pistons to gain 11 points (93-82) with a little over nine minutes left. Later, Robinson gave a chest bump to Harden, which turned into a physical confrontation between Harden and the $48M Pistons star Robinson.

Per Basketball Reference, that night Harden ended the match by contributing 22 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists while shooting 6-15 from the floor.

Whereas for the Pistons, guard Cade Cunningham (23 points) scored the most points. Followed by forward Tobias Harris (20 points) and guard Duncan Robinson (19 points).

The Pistons hosted the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference semifinals, wherein they defeated the Cavaliers by 111-101.

Jahmyr Gibbs Wasn’t the Only Lions Star Supporting the Pistons

The Detroit Lions stars don’t need their cleats to make the fans buzz around the Motown team. Besides Jahmyr Gibbs, other figures of the NFL community were also there to show support.

At the Little Caesars Arena, during the series of seven games, wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown, WR Jameson Williams, and quarterback Jared Goff also attended to show support.

In the last season, head coach Dan Campbell was also spotted in a Pistons’ playoff game against the New York Knicks.

The event also highlights how deeply the Lions stars embrace Detroit beyond football.
