After helping the Detroit Lions build one of the league’s toughest defenses, Jack Campbell found himself at the center of a lighthearted social media moment that quickly caught his teammates’ attention.

Ahead of the 2026 NFL season, Jack Campbell found himself being compared to Batman after the Motor City’s defender Kerby Joseph commented on the Lions' social media post with a Batman GIF, drawing laughs from fans and teammates alike.

The post was shared via the Detroit Lions' official Instagram handle, where Campbell was asked to say “One pride” with four different emotions. 

Even when trying all four different emotions, supportive, sarcastic, disappointed, and flirty, coincidentally, for all four times he said “One pride” with the same calm, emotionless tone, adding to the Batman-like persona.

The $86M Lions’ star, Joseph, compared Campbell to Batman, which was not random, he compared his deep pitch, raspy voice, and authoritative tone to the iconic voice of the renowned superhero. 

This comparison has elicited many reactions from the fans, which has added another layer of cheerful moments in the Lions locker room. 

Ahead of the 2026 NFL season, Campbell prepares to contribute his part in the Lions' redemption path to the 2026 NFL playoffs.

Jack Campbell Wants Lions Back on Top of the NFC North

After earning All-Pro in 2025, Jack Campbell has decided not to spend the offseason thinking about individual accolades. While speaking with Brad Galli following the conclusion of minicamp, Campbell revealed that his mission during the break is centered on one goal: reclaiming the NFC North.

“I feel like when I go back home, I'm on a mission,” Campbell said. “The mission just starts with winning the North because if we win the North, make the playoffs usually, and then get to where you want to get.”

Campbell explained that he plans to use the break to stay mentally engaged while pushing himself physically before training camp begins.   

He also stressed the importance of returning in peak condition to avoid a drop-off when the team reconvenes.

The Lions linebacker believes Detroit's defense has made significant progress throughout OTAs.

The road back to the playoffs begins with reclaiming the NFC North, and Campbell plans to do everything in his power to make that happen.
