One of the biggest celebrity events this year was the wedding of NFL superstar Travis Kelce and international superstar Taylor Swift. Detroit Lions running back Isiah Pacheco was invited to the event but soon found himself in need of help.

Pacheco was seen speaking to a police officer outside the venue of the wedding as he appeared to be confused about the parking situation for the event. He was seen requesting directions on where to park his vehicle ahead of the event. 

"Making it just in time! Travis Kelce’s former teammate Isiah Pacheco (now of the #DetroitLions) heads inside #TaylorSwift + #TravisKelce’s wedding at Madison Square Garden, but first he needed to drop off a few guests and have an officer direct him where to park," US Weekly wrote, posting a clip of Pacheco talking to the officer.

Having joined the Lions this offseason, Pacheco, who was previously a part of the Kansas City Chiefs, the team that Kelce plays for. Pacheco spent four seasons with the Chiefs and won two Super Bowls with the team.

With a guest list of over 1,000, the lavish wedding ceremony between Swift and Kelce took place at Madison Square Garden in New York. Pacheco was not the only Chiefs player to be invited to the wedding either.

Both current and former NFL teammates of Kelce were also part of the ceremony, such as quarterback Patrick Mahomes, defensive end George Karlaftis, and defensive tackle Chris Jones, to name a few.

Meanwhile, other NFL stars such as wide receiver for the Seattle Seahawks Cooper Kupp and Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield. Current NFL head coach for the New England Patriots Mike Vrabel was also invited to the wedding.

However, fans were also shocked to see one particular ex-Lions star was invited to the wedding. 

Ex-Lions star quarterback also spotted at Swift & Kelce wedding

 Lions fans were quick to notice an ex-Lions player present at the wedding. Former Lions and current Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford was spotted alongside his wife Kelly Stafford, leaving for the wedding venue.

Stafford and Kelce have been close friends over the years, with Stafford having appeared on Kelce’s podcast as well. Stafford and his wife Kelly have both dressed up as Swift and Kelce during Halloween in 2024. 

Stafford was also present for Kelce’s bachelor party in May, with both being spotted playing golf together at Baker’s Bay in the Bahamas. Both of them have also been part of the same elite NFL circle for years and are very close friends despite never having played together.
