Amon-Ra St. Brown is one of the NFL's biggest stars, but his latest social media post showed a relatable side of the Detroit Lions wide receiver.

While visiting Germany, St. Brown shared a video on Instagram about his inability to find the kinds of scenic locations often featured by social media influencers.

"I'm a loser," St. Brown wrote in the caption.

"I swear, I see these influencers. I'm scrolling on Instagram and TikTok. They all have these crazy a** backgrounds, like the best backgrounds ever," St. Brown said in his Instagram story. "I can never be in the cool spots ever."

Away from the game, the four-time Pro Bowler often shares humorous moments from his travels and personal life.

The trip to Germany is notable and meaningful for St. Brown because of his family's connection to the country. His mother was born in Germany, and the Lions receiver has frequently spoken about his ties to the nation.

His family connection will become even more important this upcoming season. 

St. Brown eagerly awaits Lions’ game in Germany

According to HITC, St. Brown considers Detroit's upcoming game in Munich as one of the best moments of his career.

The Lions are scheduled to play a regular-season game in Germany as part of the NFL's international series. This will allow St. Brown to perform in his mother's home country.

"It has been a dream of mine to play a game in my mother's home country of Germany since coming to the league," St. Brown said, as reported by HITC.

The game will allow St. Brown to showcase his talents in front of family members who have supported him throughout.

"I cannot wait to play in front of the incredible fans that I've gotten to know through my visits and football camps in the country."

St. Brown has also joked that his mother may be even more excited than he is about the opportunity.

"To play in Germany, would be, I think, my mom would be more excited than me," St. Brown said.

The Lions receiver later revealed that his family could require dozens of tickets for the game.

St. Brown has become one of the NFL's top wide receivers since the Lions selected him in the fourth round of the 2021 NFL Draft. In his whole career, he has recorded 547 receptions, 6,252 receiving yards and 44 touchdowns.

With that kind of production, he will look to continue the same form in his mother’s country. As he prepares for another season with the Lions, St. Brown's latest Instagram post reminded fans that sometimes big stars miss out on hanging out in cool spots.
