The Green Bay Packers have spent years looking for stability after the Aaron Rodgers era, and Jordan Love appeared to provide exactly that.
But as expectations continue to rise in Green Bay, so does the pressure on the franchise quarterback. Love is no longer seen as a young QB finding his footing. He is now a proven starter entering the prime of his career.
ESPN analyst Dan Graziano examined the biggest questions facing all 32 NFL teams. For the Packers, the focus was clear- whether Love can lift his game and carry a roster with playoff goals.
"Love will be asked to pick up some of the slack for the rest of the roster," wrote Graziano, talking about pressure on Love. "He's under pressure to stay healthy, to elevate his wide receiver group and maybe to help the offense carry the defense a little bit -at least early in the season."

Green Bay's front office has invested heavily in the roster, making postseason success the standard rather than the goal.
Love recorded a career-best 72.7 QBR, threw 23 touchdowns against six interceptions, and finished with a 101.2 passer rating in 2025. Those numbers placed him among the league's most efficient quarterbacks entering the 2026 season.
However, Star linebacker Micah Parsons will miss the early part of the season as he recovers from his ACL injury, while questions remain about running back Josh Jacobs' availability.
Beyond staying healthy, Love will be asked to maximize an unchanged receiving corps.
In the competitive NFC North, Love's ability to escalate those around him could define the season of the Packers.
Jordan Love Sends Strong Message Ahead of Packers Season
Jordan Love isn't treating the 2026 offseason like just another year.
The Packers QB has spent the spring focusing on refining his game and strengthening chemistry with his teammates.
“Just staying calm, staying relaxed, move through my reads," Love said via Schneidman's post on X. " If I’ve gotta move around in the pocket, keeping those movements pretty tight and not kind of running into where guys might be peeling off and able to hit you."
Love discussed the biggest areas he's working to improve as the Packers wrapped up OTAs and entered minicamp. He recorded 11,535 passing yards, 83 touchdowns, and 31 interceptions across his full seasons.
The QB has stayed very involved, helping lay the foundation for what many view as a crucial season for him and the franchise. Love's commitment to offseason improvement may determine how far the Packers can go this season.
