Former Detroit quarterback Matthew Stafford sparked reactions during an offseason event alongside his wife, Kelly Stafford, and their daughters, leaving the fans in awe.

He didn't go to Super Bowl last season, but arrived with the most adorable dates at the 2026 NFL Honors in San Francisco. On Instagram, Kelly Stafford shared the memorable moments from the couple’s first red-carpet appearance as a family of six. 

The post featured Matthew Stafford alongside Kelly and their daughters in all matching sparkling dresses. It gave fans a glimpse of the former Detroit Lions quarterback’s offseason family moment.

The red-carpet moment also came during a major night for Matthew Stafford, who was honored with the AP NFL MVP award at the NFL Honors ceremony.  He received the recognition after a standout season leading the Los Angeles Rams, adding another milestone to his veteran career.

At the 2026 NFL Honors, Matthew made the announcement confirming his return for the 18th season. “Happy to be coming back,” Matthew Stafford said.  

“It’s something I’d been thinking about and honestly talking with my family about, even before the season ended, whether or not they wanted me to continue to play and whether or not I felt like I wanted to keep playing.”

The 38-year-old quarterback was first drafted by the Detroit Lions in 2009 as the first overall pick. He played 12 seasons with the Lions and joined the Los Angeles Rams for another five seasons. 

During his career, he played 239 games, with 8763 attempts, and covered a massive number of 64516 yards. Stafford recorded 423 touchdowns and a tremendous winning percentage of 63.5.

The Stafford daughters wore matching sparkly floor-length dresses and carried football-shaped purses. Stafford stayed focused on his family, kept his wife and daughters close while speaking with reporters and posing for photos.
