Rap legend Eminem is all things Detroit when it comes to sports and has been spotted multiple times at both Pistons and Lions games over the years.

This week, he attended Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Detroit Pistons at the Little Caesars Arena. And the American rapper wore something special to show his support for the Lions.

"Eminem rocking the Detroit Lions logo on his buffs 🔥," Woodward Sports reported, referring to him wearing sunglasses which had the Lions logo on them.

Eminem was spotted alongside fellow hip-hop icon and long-time friend, 50 Cent.

Eminem, whose real name is Marshall Mathers, was born in Missouri, but he moved to Warren, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit when he was just 11 years old.

The Detroit native has been a fan of the Lions for a long time. He has referenced the team in his songs, like Legacy and has been spotted multiple times at Lions games over the years.

Dan Campbell Shares His Honest Thoughts on Eminem

Much like Eminem's love for the Lions, the team has shown the same level of admiration for him. In 2022, when the rapper made an appearance on the season finale of Hard Knocks, head coach Dan Campbell publicly praised him.

"Nobody represents the city more than you do. It's a pleasure to have you out here," Campbell said, shaking hands with Eminem.

Eminem has a storied history with the Lions, having attended many Lions games over the years.

The last time he was seen at a Lions game was on December 21, 2025, when the Lions hosted the Steelers at Ford Field. However, his ties with the team are much more than that.

During the Lions' Thanksgiving game against the Green Bay Packers, Eminem stunned the crowd by performing live at halftime. The entire half-time show was also produced by him and Shady Records president Paul Rosenberg.
