The Detroit Lions have been making moves in the 2026 NFL Free Agency.
But one thing the fans still doubt about is who will be paired with Aidan Hutchinson? A former teammate of Josh Allen, perhaps.
NFL.com's Nick Shook has said that, "The Lions could use multiple additions at edge opposite Aidan Hutchinson and should take such an approach as long as it's affordable."
Maxx Crosby was an option that the Lions could have teamed up with Hutchinson, but we all know how that worked out. Shook continued to say that the Detroit Lions are the best place for the Buffalo Bills' free agent, Joey Bosa.
"That's a big qualifier when speaking of Bosa, a former first-rounder who made $13.2 million in 2025 and contributed respectably before his performance tailed off significantly down the stretch, potentially decreasing his earning power in 2026."

Bosa signed a one-year, $12.6 million contract with the Buffalo Bills in March 2025 following his release from the Chargers. The deal included $12 million guaranteed, and now the Bills have yet to offer an extension to the defensive star.
This is the chance for the Lions to make a move.
In the 2025 regular season, he played 563 total snaps, including 336 as a pass rusher and 209 in run defense. He recorded 29 solo tackles and 12 assists, along with 5 sacks, 12 quarterback hits, and 47 total pressures. All this while also producing 5 forced fumbles and 2 batted passes.
Would The Injuries Of This Ex-Teammate of Josh Allen Be a Risk?
The 30-year-old suffered injuries last season. He injured his wrist in early November and then ended up with a hamstring injury by the time the month came to an end.
But Shook believes that it won't be a problem for the Lions. He wrote:
"At 30 years old, Bosa is firmly in veteran mercenary territory. Despite proving his injury history wasn't a defining trait in the last two seasons, it's a concern that will probably always follow him, but if he's willing to take slightly less than what his representation believes he's worth, he could find an excellent opportunity with the Lions.
Bosa had 34 solo tackles, 17 assists, and 10.0 sacks in 29 games since 2024. Those are some good numbers for a 30-year-old. Plus, he was selected to play in 5 Pro Bowls and won the Defensive Rookie of the Year award.
