“A lot of space and a lot of air quality” - Jared Goff roasts Lions teammates

The Detroit Lions had plenty to celebrate after their 45-21 victory over the Arizona Cardinals in Week 5. Jared Goff, however, gave fans another reason to laugh by playfully poking fun at a few of his teammates.

During an appearance on 97.1 The Ticket's Karsch and Anderson, Goff answered a fan's hypothetical question about a 12-hour flight. The fan in question wanted to know which two teammates the quarterback would avoid sitting beside if he had the middle seat.

Goff immediately named Christian Mahogany before considering two other Lions offensive linemen:

"Oh Gosh! Mahogany, one. Smelly and wide. Two, who would be the next one? I don't know, probably Tate for the same reason or Juice, and I love those guys."

The quarterback later explained his reasoning when the host suggested placing those teammates in front of him instead.

"In front of me might catch a whiff too, so maybe like right behind me on a plane. I love those guys, but they're gonna take up a lot of space and a lot of air quality for me."

Goff's playful response turned a fan question into a hilarious moment on the show.

Detroit Lions head into the bye week on a high after win over the Cardinals

The Detroit Lions enter their bye week following a convincing performance in Arizona. They scored 45 points and secured a 24-point victory to improve their record to 3-2.

Jared Goff completed 19 of 30 passes for 271 yards and three touchdowns. He also added a rushing score, while Jahmyr Gibbs contributed two touchdowns on the ground.

The result gave Detroit a strong result before the team's week off. They can now regroup and prepare for the challenges ahead as they look to maintain their momentum.
